BWC can evaluate WordPress/WooCommerce and Shopify against your catalog, budget, business processes, and preferred level of control. Platform functionality, payment providers, apps, transaction fees, and licenses depend on the selected services.
You retain ownership of custom deliverables under your project agreement, while hosted commerce platforms and third-party tools have their own subscription and portability requirements. We will explain those limitations before you commit.

Yes. BWC develops WooCommerce and Shopify stores. WooCommerce runs on WordPress and gives you control over hosting; Shopify provides a hosted store platform. We recommend the better fit based on your products, checkout needs, integrations, budget, and how you want to manage orders.
Yes. You control your store’s products, content, brand, and account access. A WooCommerce store can move to another compatible WordPress host. A Shopify store uses Shopify’s hosted platform, so its underlying software and certain paid apps cannot be transferred as-is. BWC does not require an ongoing maintenance contract.
Yes, but moving between ecommerce platforms is not always a one-click transfer. Products, customers, and orders can often be exported; the theme, checkout, and apps may need rebuilding. A proper migration also maps changed URLs, installs redirects, and tests ordering and SEO before launch.
